Smudging is an important purification ritual in many different cultures and traditions. Copal resin was used by the Mayans as a food for the Gods. They believe tat as the smoke of the copal would rise,it would carry their paryers to the ears of the Gods. Copal is used in divination and in purification ceremonies. Easy to use and durable, these smudge sticks will last for months of use if properly put out each time. The sage and copal are combined together in a thick, 5" long bundle.
